Hi Dolma, Thanks for the feedback! What do you mean exactly by “add background colors”? You can use the Doodle tool (towards the end on the Effects tab) to paint on a background color, but I suspect you mean something slightly different. Let us know and we’ll either point you to a possible way of doing it now, or look at adding the feature you’re after.

Hi Cindy, There shouldn’t be a problem with the Pro Editor tool. Try closing down your browser completely and re-opening it again. If you continue to have a problem contact us here and we’ll help you to sort it out one-on-one.

Hi Katie, We are planning on developing a tablet and phone app, however at this stage have no definite timing as to when this will become available. Would you be looking for a complete Ribbet suite available on the phone, or would you be looking to perform basic editing tasks on the go? Thanks for your feedback.

Hi Tonym2323, An API is on its way within the next couple of weeks. Stay tuned on our blog, Facebook page or Twitter accounts for an announcement on its launch.

Hi Matt, Ribbet usernames don’t contain the @ symbol. If when you signed up you tried to make your username your email address, the @ symbol would have been stripped out at that time as well.

If you’ve forgotten or don’t know your username/password, you can reset your password when logging in and you will be emailed your username and a new password. The username will appear as “Dear username” in the email.

Hi Christi, Yes you can achieve this. Firstly open up the collage you want to change from the Library > History tab. Next click Undo (up the top right of the screen) until you get back into Collage mode. You can now swap out the images.

The other way to achieve this (without undoing what you’ve done after the collage is complete) is to drag images onto your completed collage from the photo basket, position them and the right mouse click them to “Send to back”.

Hi Medusa, The amount of storage Ribbet is requesting (1MB) is a minuscule amount. We would simply use this amount without asking (that’s what a program you installed on your computer would do), however Adobe Flash requires that we prompt you to do so. Ribbet really needs this space to function effectively and I would suggest simply approving it to use this amount of memory. Such a small amount will not have any impact on your other programs or storage space.

Unfortunately there isn’t a way to stop this dialog from appearing as Adobe Flash requires this amount of space to run Ribbet effectively, and so it will keep asking until you allow it. All of our regular users have allowed this dialog without any issue. If you have any further concerns please let us know.

Hi Leila, Most Ribbet features will always be free. Ribbet Premium is also free for a limited time. After this time, your Premium account will revert to a regular registered account and it will be necessary to pay a small and very reasonable sum to access all of the Premium features.

Hi Kimberly, For 2 7/8 by 1 3/4, create a blank canvas of dimensions 986×600.

Hi Julie, Unfortunately batch editing isn’t currently supported by Ribbet and so there isn’t a way to do this. We will consider including this sort of functionality in the future.

Definitely. I agree that shadow color would be a very nice addition. Thanks Laura for being a loyal fan and for recruiting new fans, as well as for giving us such brilliant suggestions to make Ribbet a better editor!

Hi Laura, We are definitely hearing you and agree that easy drop shadows would be a fantastic enhancement to Ribbet.

There is a way to create a drop shadow for a transparent logo right now. You need to first create a Blank Canvas with transparency ticked, then drag on the transparent png or gif from the Photo Basket. Next click the Cog icon (up the top right next to Undo/Redo) and select Combine All. Lastly apply the Drop Shadow frame with transparency ticked.

The ability to tick on a drop shadow on any element would be a very valuable feature though, and we will look at including this in the future.

Hi Laura, This is a very good suggestion. I can see how this is a logical next step for Ribbet, and this is something we will definitely look at including at some stage. Thanks for the feedback!

Sounds like an issue with the blog’s uploader. It may be Flash and if so updating Flash could help. Otherwise try contacting their customer support who may be able to help, as it’s unlikely that it’s to do with the image. You could also try updating your browser.

Hi AmyK, I’m not certain what the problem is. Are you able to preview the collage on your computer before uploading it to the blog? Make sure the file has a name ending in .jpg – that could be the problem. Any further details you can give me such as the error message you’re getting? Thanks.
