KeymasterHi Tyanna, If you’ve correctly installed the font on your computer (see instructions here) and you can use the font in other programs such as Word, but it’s still not appearing within Ribbet (when you click the Load My Fonts button), you simply need to close down your browser completely and re-open it. This is because Adobe Flash caches the font list and restarting your browser refreshes this list. Let us know if you continue to have a problem.

KeymasterHello, Try the Frames tab and then Rounded Edges (around half way down).

KeymasterHi Lisa, Thanks very much for your valuable feedback 🙂 We’ve added these things to our list of enhancements for future Ribbet versions.

KeymasterHi Dana, Currently it’s only possible to change the number of rows and columns on certain collage templates and therefore currently you can only create a template with one big photo and three smaller ones. You can however leave one space blank and use this space to add text after you’ve completed the collage.
The ability to do what you’re trying to do will become available in a future Ribbet version.

KeymasterHi Norma, It depends on which frame. Generally you will have to re-do the frame. For some frames (such as the Daisy frame and Camouflage frame), you can change the picture by dragging it from the photo basket (you must be a registered user to do so). After dragging on the new image you can resize it and then right-mouse-click to send it back behind the frame.

KeymasterHi Kellie, Unfortunately this is a current limitation of Ribbet. When images are rotated in their EXIF data (which is almost definitely what is happening here) they aren’t correctly rotated when loading into Ribbet. The only way to currently work around this is to rotate them first in the editor, save them and then when building the collage use the edited, rotated items (available in the Photo Basket’s dropdown under History). We will be fixing this in a future Ribbet version as well as allowing you to rotate images from within Collage mode.

KeymasterHi Karina, This is definitely something we will look at adding in a future version. As of right now we don’t have an equivalent effect, however you can achieve the same result by playing around with the Curves tool.

KeymasterHi Trinni, Try our True Vintage effect (about a page down the Effects tab). There are many different tintype-like textures and effects to choose from. Let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

KeymasterHi Badgerindoc, Try this: Apply the USA flag frame, and then click the second flag. It will select, and you can then delete it by either hitting the Delete key on your keyboard, or clicking the Delete button on the Sticker Properties panel.

KeymasterHi Kirasun, Unfortunately zooming from the collage creation area isn’t currently possible. The only workaround to this is to first edit and crop the photos as you want them to appear within the collage (and save them). Then when creating the collage you can select History from the Photo Basket’s dropdown. You can then drag your edited photos straight onto your collage.

KeymasterThat really does help. Thank you so much Katie for this feedback, it’s invaluable to us and we will 100% take this on.

KeymasterHi Sue, To remove a single photo from a collage it’s necessary to either replace it with another photo, or drag it onto another cell. You currently can’t simply clear a cell. A workaround to achieve this is to select a collage layout with more cells, drag it onto one of the last cells and then change the layout back, effectively clearing the cell.

KeymasterHi Danny, Unfortunately there isn’t currently a straightforward way to do this. The closest thing to it is to use the Sandbox > Hole effect to curve the text around a hole, although this distorts the text more than a simple curve would.
Here’s how to apply the Hole effect to text:
1. Add the text. You may want to add it to a Blank Canvas (Library > Start tab) so that you can then add the text as a layer later on, depending on exactly what you’re trying to achieve.
2. Combine everything by clicking the Cog icon on the top right bar (next to Undo / Redo)
3. Go to the Hole effect which is at the very end of the Effects tab within Sandbox Effects. Adjust the Radius slider and position the hole by clicking on your photo.Hope that’s of some help 🙂 Let us know if we can offer any further advice.

KeymasterHi Paula, This isn’t a panel which Ribbet has added and must be caused by something else on your computer. If you email us a screenshot to support [at] ribbet.com we can see what’s possible in assisting you to sort this out. It may be caused by a virus or toolbar that was installed on your computer.

KeymasterHi Kirasun, Unfortunately zooming in on images within collages isn’t currently possible. The only way to work around this is to crop your images first and re-save them. You can then build your collage directly from these edited photos by selecting “History” from the photo basket when building your collage. Sorry for the inconvenience and zooming in on images is a feature we will introduce in a future Ribbet version.
