Hi Kelli, Thanks for contacting us! To overcome this issue, you need to first save the image in PNG format, and then re-upload it to your photo basket. You should then be able to drag it on with its transparency maintained. Let us know if you have any further questions!

Hi Jayson, Thanks for contacting us! The closest effect we have is the Frames tab > Reflection frame. Try setting the Background Color to white, Background Size to its maximum, and Border Thickness to its minimum. Also reduce the Fade level. After applying, you can crop to remove the white background area. Let us know if you have any further questions!

Hi Jayson, Thanks for contacting us! If you haven’t already, take a look at the Pro tab > Pro Editor > Pixlr Express, then select Overlay and there are a lot of different light overlay options including Leaks and Default. This is currently the closest thing we offer to sunbeams. Let us know if you have any further questions!

Hi Peyton, Thanks for contacting us! To erase text from an existing image, you can use the Pro tab > Clone tool, to clone a nearby area of the picture over the text. First click the area you want to copy from, and then paint over the text.

Alternatively, if the text is on a flat colored background, you can use the Effects tab > Doodle tool (towards the end of the tab) to paint directly over the text. You can “pick” the color from your photo by first clicking the color selector, and then clicking on your image.

Let us know if you have any further questions!

    Hi JD,

Thanks for contacting us! In order to use the Clone tool, you first need to click on the source (what you want to copy – in this case a cat). Then you need to paint on the copy wherever you want it to appear (by holding down the mouse button and dragging).

To add another copy, you need to click the Source Selection button, click the source again (the original cat), and again paint on the copy wherever you want it.

Let us know if anything’s unclear or if you have any further questions!

Hi Jayson, Thanks for contacting us! We are working on a selective exposure tool which will be available soon. In the meantime, you can use the Pro tab > Curves tool with the preset Decrease Exposure, and then paint off the areas that you don’t want darkened.

You’re welcome! To combine two images, you can create a simple collage by going to the Home tab and clicking the Create Collage button, and then selecting one of the 2 photo layouts on the top row.

The other way is to start editing a photo, and then drag on another photo from the Photo Basket at the bottom of the editor. You can then delete areas from this second photo by using the Eraser Tool. This is a better option for when you’re trying to move an object from one photo into another. You can watch a brief demo video here.

Hi Jayson, Thanks for contacting us! The closest thing we have is the Seasonal tab > Holiday > Snow effect which looks quite a lot like rain if you reduce the amount to around 20% and fade it up to around 70%. Let us know if you have any further questions!

Hi Caren, Thanks for contacting us and sorry that you’ve experienced this issue!

In order to maximize the resolution of your collages, ensure that you select High Quality (to the top right) when creating your collage. You’ll need to be a registered user in order to take advantage of this setting. If you’ve already created a collage with the lower quality setting, you can open it up from your Library > History tab, click the Undo button until you’re back in collage mode, and then you can change the quality to high and re-save.

Let us know if we can be of any further assistance!

Hi Elizabeth, Thanks for contacting us! Yes, you can absolutely achieve this. Firstly, drag on the smaller image from the Photo Basket (at the bottom of the editor). You can then resize and reposition the photo. If you would like to delete areas from this smaller photo, you can also use the Eraser Tool to delete areas from it.

Let us know if you have any further questions!

Hi Sophie, Thanks for contacting us and excellent question!

For any items created for commercial purposes (any use for the purpose of making a profit), almost everything is fine but there are some limitations:

    – Some fonts require a small payment for commercial use (click the little human icon next to the Add / Delete buttons on the Text tab for a link to the font designer’s website to check on this).
    – The stickers and the frames with sticker elements (such as the flower frame) may require the purchase of one or more stock images. If you would like to make use of these commercially, please contact us here, let us know specifically which stickers you want to use and we’ll forward you a link for the stock images required.

Everything else within Ribbet can be used for commercial purposes without limitation.

Hi Mona, Currently we allow unlimited storage, however you’re only able to see the last 100 uploads and the last 1000 edits on the Library > Get from Computer and History tabs respectively. To view back beyond this you need to delete some items from these tabs.

In the future we may offer the ability to purchase additional storage beyond these levels. I’ve added this to our wishlist for consideration and we may include it in a future Ribbet version (in which case I’ll update this thread).

Hi Lindsay, Thanks for contacting us. This is absolutely possible. In order to maximize the quality of your edit, start by changing your options: Click Hi username! on the top right toolbar, and then change the Image quality setting to Archival. This will allow you to save images at a maximum of 16 megapixels, which is more than enough for printing to business card size.

Hi Lynette, Thanks for contacting us! There are a couple of things you can try:

    – The Touch-Up tab > Dodging tool, with Shadows selected from the dropdown. This will work well on subtle shadows.
    – The Touch-Up tab > Clone tool. First click on an area of the face without shadow, and then carefully paint over the area with shadow. This will work well on less subtle shadows. You will need to be careful using the tool and it can take a little practice.

Hi KIM, Thanks for contacting us! To edit a collage once saved, first (if you haven’t still got it opened) open up the collage from the Library > History tab. Next click the Undo button (up the top right) until you’re back in Collage mode. From here you can reposition and replace photos within the collage. Let us know if you have any further questions!
