Hi 4cassandra, This isn’t a bug which is occurring for everyone but is specific to your configuration. Would you mind trying the following to see if it fixes your problem:
– update your browser (I think you’re running Firefox, if so just try restarting it or see upgrade instructions here)
– check you are running the latest version of flashOne last quick thing you can try (try this first if you like) is right-click on Ribbet (when in the editor), click Settings, go to the “Local Storage” tab (the yellow folder) and change it to at least 1MB.
Would love to hear how you go!
These are excellent suggestions and we will look at adding more French and Spanish fonts in a future version.
For right now you can use the “Global” font (first font in the list) to write any special characters with accents etc. You can either type these using your foreign language keyboard, or you can copy/paste the special characters.
Hi Erin, There sure is. Simply register, and then when editing your photo go down the bottom of the screen to the “Photo Basket”. You can then drag your logo onto your image and use the various “Blending Modes”. See this tutorial for more info: Photo Basket [Layers]
Hi Caryn, We are working on loading/saving to/from Facebook & Flickr now and this will be in an update soon. Currently the only way to edit photos from Facebook is to download them to your computer and re-upload them to Ribbet. You can download any photo from Facebook by clicking Options > Download when viewing the large version of it.
OK let’s see if we can sort this out. So when you click Save, you should be able to just save the file in any location on your computer and it shouldn’t matter if the dropdown is blank.
Are you able to click save and then unable to find the file later, or are you simply unable to save at all? Also what browser are you using and are you on Mac or PC?
Yes Ribbet supports TIFF. Currently photos will be resized to a maximum of 4000px on the longest side.
Make sure you go to Help > My Account in the top right menu and change your Image Quality settings to Archival. Alternatively when you load the photo, click Undo straight away and it will resize it to the 4000px max.
