Hi Nicole, Try exiting your browser completely and re-opening it. That should solve the issue. If not, try updating your flash player.
Hi early1945, the option is presented when saving to Flickr, but there is currently a bug which is stopping the option from displaying.
This should be fixed within the next few days, but in the meantime you can workaround the problem by disconnecting and reconnecting to Flickr. You can do this on the Library tab by clicking Options under your Flickr account name and then disconnect. Then click the red connect button again. When you save to Flickr the replace option will appear.
Hi 4cassandra, I’m very sorry you’re having these troubles. When I test with Chrome I don’t experience these problems, but I do understand that these issues exist on some computers.
There are many things that can be tried to fix these types of issues including the points set out here: http://blog.ribbet.com/?topic=trouble-loading-ribbet I would suggest clearing your cache [step 3] as a possible solution (so that Ribbet is forced to reload).
Unfortunately Chrome sometimes seems to not behave correctly with Flash, and I have seen some suggestions on fixing this such as in this article: http://www.pcmech.com/article/problems-with-google-chrome-and-shockwave-flash/.
Another simple thing you could try is uninstalling and reinstalling Google Chrome. Also as simple as it sounds, rebooting your computer may help.
If you do resolve the issue please let us know what worked for you. Sorry I can’t point you to a simple and certain fix.
Hi Alexandra. For false eyelashes, you can try experimenting with Touch Ups > Mascara and Seasonal > Movember > Fake Beard (try 100% Dapperness and a small brush size). Erasing beards is more tricky, but you could try the Advanced > Clone Tool and clone from another part of their face.
Hi OctoberNoir, Autotrophic is available under Effects > Heatmap 2.0 > Style Dropdown. Under Frames there is Polaroid and Postage Stamp, but not sure which original Picnik effect you are referring to with “Postcard” but they may be it (all the original effects should be in there).
Hi 4cassandra, I’m sorry you are experiencing this issue. We are investigating it and will see what we can find. This problem isn’t occurring for everyone but is specific to some clients. Some potential fixes for this problem are listed here.
Hi Janno, The amount of storage Ribbet is requesting (1MB) is a minuscule amount. We would simply use this amount without asking (that’s what a program you installed on your computer would do), however Adobe Flash requires that we prompt you to do so. Ribbet really needs this space to function effectively and I would suggest simply approving it to use this amount of memory. Such a small amount will not have any impact on your other programs or storage space.
Hi Judy, Currently photos will be resized to a maximum of 4000px on the longest side. Make sure you go to Help > My Account in the top right menu and change your Image Quality settings to Archival in order to take advantage of this maximum size. Alternatively when you load the photo, click Undo straight away and it will resize it to the 4000px max.
Hi Diana, There should be no problem using Google Chrome. I’m using Chrome now and Vibrance is working fine for me. It may be a temporary problem that can be fixed by either: closing all browser windows and trying again, or clearing your cache. Please let us know if neither solution works for you.
Hi Lorraine, There are a few tools which may be helpful. Different tools will be more effective on different photos.
Try the various tools within “Touch-Ups” including “Shine-Be-Gone”, “Airbrush” and “Burning”.
Also you could try the “Clone” tool within Advanced. You will need to make the brush very small and zoom in. This is a very powerful tool if used carefully.
Hi Carlo, Yes there is a way to do this. Simply register, and then when editing your photo go down the bottom of the screen to the “Photo Basket”. You can then drag custom clip art onto your image. See this tutorial for more info: Photo Basket [Layers]
