RibbetKeymaster
Hi Rosemary, Absolutely. It will appear as a popup type of window and will automatically position based on your screen size and image size (normally to the right of your photo). It will look like this.
RibbetKeymasterHi Rosemary, Thanks for contacting us. To achieve this you need to:
1. Drag on the dog from the Photo Basket at the bottom of the editor
2. Click the Eraser Button on the Photo Properties dialog that appears (see our eraser tool help)
3. Erase the areas of the dog photo by dragging over it with your mouse button downIf you continue to have a problem, please contact us here so that we can help you out one-on-one.
RibbetKeymasterHi Courtney, We don’t currently have a preset for 8.5 x 4.5, but if you adjust the Proportions slider while watching the dimensions in the Zoom box down the bottom right, you need to get them as close to 1024×542 as possible (or 2400×1271 for High quality collages).
RibbetKeymasterHi jcoletta, Thanks for contacting us! The best way to achieve this is to use the Pro tab > Clone tool in order to clone a nearby area without hair, over the area with hair. Make sure you adjust the brush size to an appropriate size. This will work well on smaller areas but may be difficult to make realistic on large areas.
RibbetKeymasterHi Jacquelyn, Thanks for contacting us and sorry that you’re experiencing this issue. A “Plug-in Failure” message means that there was a problem with Adobe Flash, which is what Ribbet requires in order to run. To resolve this, simply close down your web browser completely and then re-launch Ribbet. This will restart Flash, and should fix your issue.
If you continue to have a problem, please contact us here so that we can help you solve it one-on-one.
RibbetKeymasterHi Shakira, Thanks for contacting us. You should be able to simply click the Bold button on the Text Properties dialog which appears when you click your text. Are you able to find this button but it’s not working? Or is the button disabled? If it’s disabled this means that there isn’t a bold version of that particular font available.
If it’s enabled but not working, please try closing down your browser completely and re-launching Ribbet. This restarts Adobe Flash and should resolve the issue. If you continue to have a problem you can contact us here and we’ll help you sort it out one-on-one.
RibbetKeymasterHi Joanne, This is an excellent suggestion, thank you. We are in fact launching the Ribbet Lab within the next couple of weeks which will include thousands of customizable designs for invitations, cards, birth announcements etc. Please check back soon for this exciting new section of our site.
RibbetKeymasterHi Rou, Thanks for contacting us. To do this you need to first open up the main photo, and then drag on the picture you want to use part of from the Photo Basket at the bottom of the editor. You can then use the Eraser tool to delete the areas you don’t want from the picture you’ve dragged on.
You can also watch a demo video of this here. Let us know if we can be of any further assistance!
RibbetKeymasterHi Dyan, To achieve this and make it look realistic is quite difficult, but possible. You will need to use the Pro tab > Clone tool with a small brush size, to clone nearby areas of the face over the glasses, effectively making them disappear. Please let us know if you have any further questions!
RibbetKeymasterHi Rob,
Thanks for contacting us. Basically the url in the file parameter points to a temporary image download. It will only remain a valid url for a couple of days. The intention of the API is that you will save this file to your server if you need to hang onto it, or you can display it immediately (as it does in api-example.php that you've mentioned) using some simple PHP like:
<?php
echo '<img src="'.$_GET['file'].'" />';
?>Alternatively the following Javascript can be placed directly into an HTML file in order to display the image:
<script>
function getParameterByName(name) {
name = name.replace(/[\[]/, "\\\[").replace(/[\]]/, "\\\]");
var regex = new RegExp("[\\?&]" + name + "=([^&#]*)"),
results = regex.exec(location.search);
return results == null ? "" : decodeURIComponent(results[1].replace(/\+/g, " "));
}document.write("<img src='"+getParameterByName("file")+"'>");
</script>Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance!
RibbetKeymasterHi Dyan, Thanks for contacting us. To achieve this simply click the Effects tab > Black and White effect, and then paint over the areas of your photo you would like to make color (drag the mouse over while holding down the mouse button). Let us know if we can be of any further assistance!
RibbetKeymasterHi Beth, Thanks for contacting us. When creating your collage, make sure you’re signed in and then change the Quality setting on the top right toolbar to High. This will maximize the resolution for printing. For an existing collage, if you open it from your Library > History tab and click Undo until you’re back in Collage mode, you will then be able to change it to High quality.
RibbetKeymasterHi Ronda, Thanks for contacting us and for this excellent suggestion. Quite a few users have requested a downloadable, off-line version of Ribbet, and this is something we will consider for the future.
RibbetKeymasterHi Ralph,
Thanks for contacting us. I believe that Ribbet has exactly the same Red-eye tool that Picnik had. If you head to the Touch-ups tab > Red-eye tool there is a Furball option. Are you aware of this feature or is the issue that it’s not working for you how you would expect? If you are aware of it, could you please email us a copy of the photo you’re having a problem with to support [at] ribbet.com so that we can try to replicate the issue. Thanks!
RibbetKeymasterHi Ashley! We now have a Snap dropdown when creating a collage where you can select either 11×17″ or 17×11″. The collage will then be of the correct proportions for the calendar.
