    Hi Ana,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

Down the very bottom of the Photo Basket there’s a scroll bar that you can drag along. You can also use your mouse’s scroll wheel over the Photo Basket.

    Does that help?

    Hi Zoe,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

To change eye color on our web editor, upload your image and head to the Retouch tab (on the left bar), choose the Eye Color tool and paint over the eyes on your image. Note that a Premium membership is required to apply this tool.

A similar tool exists in our iOS app and can be applied for free (by starting a free trial or by watching a reward video). Our Android app is coming soon.

    Hi Jessi,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

After uploading an image to Ribbet, if you click Undo once, it will restore the image to its full dimensions (up to a maximum of 16 megapixels). The reason it downsizes by default it is to speed up editing, however you may find that everything still works efficiently at the larger size.

You can also change your Image Quality setting to Archival (by clicking Hi Username! on the top right toolbar and then adjusting this setting). This does the exact same thing, but means you don’t have to click Undo every time.

    Hi Soozie!

Normally when you drag a new image on from the Photo Basket (at the bottom of the editor) it won’t be transparent and you shouldn’t be able to see through it. If you Fade the image (on the Photo Properties dialog that appears) or add an Advanced Blend Mode on that dialog, you will be able to see through it.

The only exception is if you’re dragging on transparent PNG images, then these will maintain their transparency. There are 2 ways around this (if that is the issue here – I’m not certain):

    – Drag on an item from History (in the Photo Basket you can change the dropdown from Uploads to History)
    – Or, open up the PNG file, save it as JPG and re-upload it to Ribbet (you can change from PNG to JPG in the Format dropdown on the Save screen). Then try again using this new upload.

Hope that helps! If you’re still having the issue, please email us a screenshot to support [at] ribbet.com and we’ll look into the problem further.

    Hi Melissa,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

Currently we don’t have a way to selectively apply saturation or temperature to your photo. I’ve added this to our wishlist for inclusion in a future Ribbet version. Once we add this, you’ll be able to erase the change in saturation/temperature from certain areas of your photo such as people’s skin.

I’ve also added to our list the addition of red/green/blue sliders within our Basic > Color tool, so that you’ll be able to reduce the amount of red in the photo without affecting the other colors.

Let us know if you have any other questions or suggestions.

    Hi Ruth,

Thanks for reaching out to us! If you go to the Blur effect then you can paint your photo to make any areas sharp. You do this by simply dragging your mouse over the photo while holding down the mouse button.

    Hi Karin,

That’s a pleasure! There isn’t a way to adjust the border width for individual cells of a collage, but there are ways around this. Here are a couple of thoughts:

    – You could create 2 collages (and save them separately): the first for group A and the second group B. For each collage use the border width you want for that group.

Then create a 3rd collage with just 2 cells and drag on the 2 collages you just created (you can add previously saved collages to your cells by changing the Photo Basket’s dropdown to “History”)

    – You could also edit any individual photo or collage and add a Frame to it from the Frames tab, such as our simple “Border” frame. Then you could create a new collage and include that edit (using “History” in the Photo Basket again).

Let us know if you have any questions about these as they include a few slightly tricky steps.

    Hi Jay,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

There are a number of ways to find the hex color code, but here’s one:

    – Open up the image, and head to the Frames tab > Reflection frame. Click the background color selector box, and then hover over the part of your image you need the code of. You will be able to see the code in the color picker on the left.

    Hi Kendra,

Thanks for reaching out to us! Although you can’t currently enter the exact dimensions for a collage, you can drag the edge of the collage to resize it. If you watch the dimensions (as displayed down the very bottom right of the screen) you should be able to get very close to 1280 x 720. Unfortunately it’s sometimes tricky to get it exactly right, however this is something we will be improving in the future.

    Hi Karin,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

There is a basic tutorial here. Achieving this should be pretty straightforward – basically choosing your desired layout on the left, and then dragging on the images from the Photo Basket at the bottom. For making it 11×17″, choose 11×17 when creating your collage in the dropdown on the left that says “No Constraints”.

Also note that you can drag images “between” cells to insert a new cell, that way you can add more images to a layout. You can also delete cells from a collage by clicking the cross up the top right.

    Hi Joanna,

Thanks for reaching out to us! We are already deeply into the development of our Android app. Things have taken longer than expected, however the app is looking really exciting and will support most Android phones and tablets. It will be released at some time this year, however I don’t have an exact date yet.

Look forward to launching it and hearing your feedback!

    Hi Tess,

Yes there are a couple of ways to achieve this:

    1. You can start with a Blank Canvas from the Start tab. This doesn’t change an existing photo to white but lets you start from scratch with a white photo.

    2. If already on a photo, you can use the Effects tab > Sketch tool (towards the end of the list but you can search for it at the top of the list) to paint a flat color over your entire photo. Note that you can increase the brush size really large to make this a fast job.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

    Hi Cathy,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

Sorry to hear that you’ve run into this issue. It seems to be working fine from here. Do you have any anti-virus or ad-blocking software that could be interfering? If so, could you please try adding *.ribbet.com as an exception to that software’s settings?

If you still have a problem, could you please try exiting your web browser completely and then relaunching Ribbet. You could also try a different browser, such as Safari.

Let us know if you have any further problems.

    Hi Almo,

Thanks for reaching out to us! Basically everything is still the same with the new editor (and you can still access our old editor here). To overlay an image you simply expand the Photo Basket (at the bottom of the editor) and drag it on. To then erase from it you still use the Erase button on the Photo Properties dialog, however it looks a little different. You can find it just above the DELETE button at the bottom of the dialog (to the right of Flip).

Let us know if you have any other questions.
