Hi Soph, Try using the Clone Tool on the Advanced Tab to clone skin from beside the bra, over the bra. First select the skin and then paint over the bra. You will most likely need to make the brush size quite small.
RibbetKeymasterHi Micki, This is definitely something we can look at. Is this an effect you’ve seen on another photo editing site, or can you give us more details or an example, so that we can see what you mean?
RibbetKeymasterHi Laurel, Sorry you’re having this problem. This isn’t one we’ve seen before. Have you recently upgraded your computer (such as updating Internet Explorer, installing a new anti-virus program etc)?
Here are a couple of suggestions to try to fix this problem:
– Try closing down your browser completely and re-opening it
– Try updating FlashIf you continue to have the problem, you could try temporarily disabling any anti-virus or firewall programs you’re running, or you could try using Google’s free Chrome browser.
RibbetKeymasterHi Karen, For 10×20″ use a blank canvas of dimensions 1500×3000.
RibbetKeymasterHi Kimberly, Sorry about that. The dimensions I gave you originally: 1400×2100, while in the correct ratio, will only be 70 DPI when printed at 20×30. You can instead create a blank canvas of size 3200×4800 which will give you 160 DPI when printing, which should be sufficient for a large poster.
RibbetKeymasterHi Kayla, As long as the collage is a square shape to begin with, you can use the proportions 42:58 or 58:42 to print to 5×7.
RibbetKeymasterHi Lisa, Sorry you’re having this problem. I’d be happy to help you sort it out. The most common remedy for these types of issues is to:
– update your Adobe Flash player, or alternatively try using the free Google Chrome browser
– reboot your computerPlease let us know if you continue to experience a problem.
RibbetKeymasterHi Minda, For 8.75×11.25″ you should create a blank canvas of size 1633×2100.
RibbetKeymasterHi Kimberly, For a 20×30 poster use 1400×2100.
RibbetKeymasterHi Anne, Thanks for this suggestion. Saving uploaded fonts isn’t something which is current possible. I can understand the inconvenience of having to always click ‘Load My Fonts’ and find the particular font and so saving favorite fonts is a feature that we will consider adding down the track. As a workaround I know that some users keep Ribbet opened in a tab all the time so that they don’t have to always reload it. This is something you could consider, although obviously this isn’t something which appeals to everyone.
RibbetKeymasterHi Amanda, Yes there shouldn’t be any issue with uploading multiple photos at once. As long as you are registered and logged into Ribbet it should just be a matter of selecting multiple images (I just tested it and it worked fine for me). If you continue to have a problem try closing down your browser completely and re-opening it, rebooting, or if you still have a problem try updating flash or using Google’s free Chrome browser. Please let us know if you continue to have an issue.
RibbetKeymasterHi Emily, This issue with image rotation is a problem that occurs when the rotation is stored in the EXIF data of the photo (hidden information attached to a photo, usually created by your camera). Ribbet currently doesn’t support EXIF rotation and so if the photo is already rotated in EXIF, Ribbet ignores this information when loading the photo. When saving, it hangs onto all the original EXIF data though, and so the rotation still exists when saving (even though you can’t see it in Ribbet – you can see it in other programs including on Facebook and Smugmug).
So basically you’re not doing anything wrong, Ribbet at some point will need to take into account EXIF rotation. Until then you’ll need to be aware that if Ribbet has ignored the rotation on loading, it will return on saving.
RibbetKeymasterHi Sean, When saving, in order to maintain the transparency you need to choose “PNG” as the format (instead of “JPG”). This is because JPG files don’t support transparency whereas PNG files do.
RibbetKeymasterHi Portia, To delete individual files from your Ribbet library, head to the Library Tab and then Get from Computer sub-tab. To the bottom right of each image is a button with a cog icon. Click this to delete any single photo. For further instructions, see our help topics on deleting photos.
RibbetKeymasterHi Caroline, To achieve this you simply paint over (drag the mouse over while holding down the mouse button) the areas you want to make color when applying the Black & White effect (before clicking the Apply button). For more details see our help topic on Effect Painting,
