Hi Lorena,
Thanks for reaching out to us! Doodle is now called Sketch. You can find it towards the end of the Effects tab, or by searching for it at the top of the tab.

RibbetKeymasterHi Donna,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Currently this isn’t possible however this would be an important enhancement to Ribbet and we will include it in a future version.
Right now to copy or paste you need to manually save and upload (to Ribbet or to email etc).
Let us know if you have any other questions or suggestions!

Thanks for reaching out to us!
You can achieve this by:
1. Upload the photo with the face to the Photo Basket at the bottom of the editor and drag it onto your photo
2. Next erase the areas of the photo you dragged on (except for the face) by first clicking the Eraser button on the Photo Properties dialog that appears (above the Delete button at the bottom of this dialog)
We have a brief demo video outlining this process here. Let us know if you have any questions!

RibbetKeymasterHi Janet,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
This is an issue that affects Google’s Chrome browser that we’re aware of and will be fixing in a future update to Ribbet. In the meantime you can workaround the issue by using a different web browser, such as Safari or Firefox.

RibbetKeymasterHi Rose,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
After adding text to your photo, click on that text and a “Text Properties” popup will appear. Within that popup you can change the color of the text by clicking within the color rectangle at the top of that popup.
Let us know if you have any other questions.

RibbetKeymasterAs an update: We have reverted to the previous version of the new editor until we have resolved the issue. So favorites is now working normally again.

RibbetKeymasterHi Linda,
Thanks for reaching out to us and sorry to hear that you’ve run into these issues!
We launched a new version of Ribbet today and that have introduced these 2 problems. We’re working on them and will release a patch as soon as possible.
The editing tools should all load, however once you try to load your favorites things start behaving weirdly. So if you start the new editor and don’t access your favorites, then other than the Flickr issue you mentioned everything should work perfectly.
I’ll update this thread once the issues are fixed.

RibbetKeymasterHi Fay,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
We don’t currently have a ‘warp text’ tool, however you can achieve some pretty awesome warping effects by following these steps:
1. Create a Blank Canvas (from the Start tab) with Transparent background ticked
2. Add some text (resize it to fill the canvas quite a lot)
3. Flatten the image (click the icon up the top right to the left of the Undo / Redo icons)
4. You can now apply any effect to the text. In particular some of the effects in the Sandbox category at the end of the Effects tab have warping properties.
5. Save the image to your computer. Then when editing, upload this saved image to the Photo Basket (at the bottom of the editor) and drag it onto your photo. Voila – warped text.Regards – The Ribbet Team
RibbetKeymasterHi Viv,
We hear you! This feature is just about ready. We’ll be launching it within the next 3 weeks – please stay tuned for this awesome improvement.

RibbetKeymasterOK I see what you mean. Please try adding the Frames tab > “Border” frame first and increasing the Caption Height slider. Then add the text as I described above.

RibbetKeymasterHi Ribbaldinn,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
To add a caption, first open our editor. Next upload your image and then head to the “Text” tab (on the left bar). Now enter your text up in the top left box, and click “Add”.

RibbetKeymasterGood news: we will be adding better management of all uploads and history in an upcoming enhancement to Ribbet, including support for labels/folders, and ordering/search. This will allow commonly used files to sit in a separate folder and not be bumped when uploading new images.
You can add history items directly from the Photo Basket by changing the dropdown from Uploads to History and dragging on items. Is there another way that you’d like to see us add?
Regards – The Ribbet Team
RibbetKeymasterHi GT,
Thanks for reaching out to us! You can delete individual items by navigating to the PHOTOS tab (up the top left) and then Uploads (on the left bar). Deleting individual items here (by clicking the Delete cross to the bottom right when hovering over any photo) will also delete them from your Photo Basket and you can then return to editing on the EDIT tab (up the top left).
In the future we will look at allowing deleting items directly in the Photo Basket.
Regards – The Ribbet Team
RibbetKeymasterHi Mike,
Thanks so much for the clarification! I’ve added this to our wish-list for inclusion in a future Ribbet version.

RibbetKeymasterHi Tom,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
You can pixelate a photo using Ribbet by heading to the Effects tab and searching the list for the word “Pixelate”. You can erase areas of the pixelation and adjust its intensity.
Let us know if you have any other questions!
