RibbetKeymasterHi Quantum Gaming,
Thanks for reaching out to us! You can create a transparent picture by creating a Blank Canvas from the Start tab, and then ticking the Transparent checkbox. Ensure that you save in PNG format to maintain the transparency in your image.

RibbetKeymasterHi Lisa,
Thanks for reaching out to us! I believe you are referring to replacing photos on Flickr. Normally there is an option to replace or save as new just above the save button when saving to Flickr. If however you don’t see this option, please try signing out of Flickr (from the PHOTOS > Flickr tab in Ribbet, by clicking Log Out on the left bar) and then connecting again.
If you then continue to have this issue then please reach out to us by emailing support [at] ribbet.com and we’ll look into this further.

If you select the 2nd Jigsaw layout (on the top row), you can then insert an additional cell by dragging one of your photos from the Photo Basket (at the bottom of the editor) to between the top 2 cells. A blue rectangle will appear, indicating that it’s going to insert a new cell – then let go of your mouse button to insert it.

Thanks for reaching out to us! You can move shapes and text backwards and forwards by right-mouse-clicking them (or Control-clicking them on Mac) and selecting Send Backward or Bring Forward.

RibbetKeymasterHi Mijou,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Currently there isn’t a “line tool”, however there are a number of arrow shapes on the Stickers tab that you can add to your photo. When you click one of these stickers after adding it, a Sticker Properties dialog appears and you can use the Eraser tool on this to erase the head off the arrow and just leave the line.

RibbetKeymasterHi Nicole,
Thanks for reaching out to us! There are a couple of things you can do here:
– Try saving in PNG format instead of JPG (this is an option on the Save tab), or if saving in JPG try increasing the quality slider to 8 or 9.
– For retina displays (e.g. Macbooks and newer laptops), you can actually create your images at double the width and height, and then reduce it in the HTML width and height attributes to the true size you need to display it at. This will create a sharper look on those monitors.
Let us know if you have any further questions.

RibbetKeymasterHi Kim! I just replied to your other post. With the borders maintaining their aspect ratio, which frames in particular would you like to see work in this way? We’ve added in light leaks and other similar overlays. Let us know any feedback you have so we can work on making things perfect.

RibbetKeymasterHi Annie,
Pixlr are unfortunately retiring their Pixlr Express editor and as their API (which Ribbet has always relied on to integrate with them) is broken and won’t be fixed, we are no longer able to include them in our Pro Editor tool.
We will however be adding lots of new Pixlr-like overlays and borders to the main Ribbet editor. This is coming really soon and is looking awesome! Are there any particular effects that you’d like to see us implement?

RibbetKeymasterHi Denita,
Thanks for reaching out to us! After you add Text to your photo (or when you click on a piece of existing Text), a Text Properties dialog appears. At the top of this dialog is a color selection rectangle where you can choose the Text’s color.

RibbetKeymasterHi Michelle,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
We will be introducing a Canvas Color tool soon to make this task slightly easier, however you can achieve it right now by:
– Opening up the Effects tab > Sketch tool (towards the end of the tab)
– “Picking” the color by clicking the tool’s color rectangle and then on the photo
– Painting over your entire canvas (increasing the brush size will make this a quick task)Let us know if you have any other questions!

You can now use our new “Custom Ratio…” option in the Constraint dropdown when creating your collage and enter 9 x 6.

RibbetKeymasterHi Lee,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
There are many different ways to achieve this. One way is:
– Open up the Effects tab > Sketch tool
– Change the color to #662800 (you can enter the code after you click the color selector above the color rectangle)
– Change the Blend Mode dropdown to Hardlight
– Paint onto the hair
– You can also then adjust the Fade to find a natural looking level. You could also experiment with other brown colors.Regards – The Ribbet Team
