Hi ky,
Thanks for reaching out! The Doodle tool has been renamed the Sketch tool. You can search for it on the Effects tab (by typing Sketch or Doodle).

RibbetKeymasterAn update on this: there actually is a way to create curved text right now using the Pro Editor tool, but the text won’t be editable again later. We will at some stage add it to the main Ribbet editor and it will be easier. But, here’s how to do it right now:
1. Open up the Pro Editor tool > Ribbet Fly (on the Pro tab)
2. Click the “T” icon on the left bar (Text icon) and then click on your photo
3. Choose your font/size on the top bar and then type your word(s)
4. Now click Warp on the top bar. Choose the Style (e.g. Arc or Arch) and adjust the sliders if necessary
5. When you’re done click the File > Save menuLet us know if you have any questions!

RibbetKeymasterHi Bobbi,
Unfortunately I don’t have an exact schedule to provide you for the curved text feature. It’s something we really want to see added, but is competing with a lot of other features for programming time. We’ll do our best to add it soon and I’ll update this forum thread once it’s available.
What we plan to do is release a public vote up/down system for enhancement requests, so that we can determine exactly which features are the most wanted and implement these first.
Sorry for any inconvenience in not having it live just yet!

Thanks for reaching out to us! The largest supported size is currently 16 megapixels, which is 4000×4000 (or any dimensions which multiply to less than 16 million).
This is 13.3×13.3″ at 300DPI.
Let us know if you have any other questions!

RibbetKeymasterHi Dominotic,
As an update we have now released a fix for this to the browser-based version of Ribbet (at https://ribbet.com/app). Our program version will receive this fix in the next update.
Let us know if you have any questions or further issues!

RibbetKeymasterHi Candace,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
There are a few ways to achieve this:
– If the words were added using Ribbet, you can remove them by opening up the previous edit from the PHOTOS tab (on the top bar) > History tab (on the left bar). Click the text and click Delete (or press the Delete key on your keyboard).
If the words are already on your photo:
– If you want to replace them with a flat background color, open up the Effects tab > Sketch tool, and paint over them.
– If you want to replace them with a similar background to what the photo has, open up the Pro tab > Clone tool. Click an area of the background you want to copy over the words, and then paint over the text (i.e. hold down your mouse button and drag over it).
Let us know if you have any questions!

RibbetKeymasterHi Soozie,
Thanks for reaching out. This has been on our wish list for a long time and I’m sorry we haven’t yet implemented it. It’s definitely a desirable feature and we will include it, however I’m not sure when it will be added as there are a number of competing requests. I will keep this post updated though as soon as we have a clearer idea of when it will be released.

RibbetKeymasterHi Dominotic,
Thanks for letting us know about this issue and sorry for the inconvenience. We will fix this in an update very soon. We’ll let you know when this update is live.

RibbetKeymasterHi Rick,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Normally the way the Erase button works within Clone is as a toggle: click it once and it turns blue (on) and the 2 sliders above it are “Eraser Size” and “Eraser Hardness”. Click it again and it turns grey (off) and the 2 sliders above it become “Brush Size” and “Brush Hardness”.
If you aren’t seeing this functionality, please try restarting Ribbet to see if that helps. Or, let us know if you have any further questions.

RibbetKeymasterHi MaryMary,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
We’re currently working on an update that will do this automatically, so that all your devices are in sync. This will be released in a Ribbet update soon.
In the meantime, you can manually do this by logging into ribbet.com from your phone (from the top right 3 bar menu) and choosing “My Library” (from this same menu). From there you can upload photos from your phone to your Ribbet account and also download your Ribbet History and Uploads to your phone.
Please let us know if you have any other questions!

RibbetKeymasterHi Astanias,
Thanks for reaching out to us! Unfortunately the Pixlr Express option from our Pro Editor tool had to be removed as Pixlr are no longer supporting the API for this editor (which is what Ribbet relied on to provide this functionality).
We have integrated a lot of new Overlays into our editor (on the Overlays tab on the left bar). If there’s other particular functionality you liked from the old Pixlr Express editor, please let us know and we’ll do our best to include it. Or let us know if you have any other questions.

RibbetKeymasterHi Kenny,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
To get your image to the perfect size, use the Basic tab’s Crop tool, and select “Facebook Cover” from the preset dropdown that appears within this tool. This will crop your image to fit Facebook’s recommended sizing.
Let us know if you have any other questions!

RibbetKeymasterHi Kim,
Thanks so much for your feedback!
Regarding only being able to upload one photo at a time, if you make sure that you’re signed into your Ribbet account from within the program version (by clicking the Profile icon up the top right of the program and then choosing Sign In) it should then allow you to upload multiple (uploading one photo at a time is a limitation of guest accounts).
With the program hanging, generally we aren’t seeing this issue. However we are releasing a new version of the program within the next week or so, which updates its core libraries to the latest versions. This will hopefully resolve your issue. The program will auto-update when the update becomes available (just follow the prompts when starting up Ribbet).
In the meantime, please let us know if you have any other feedback or questions.

RibbetKeymasterHi Ravenne,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
We actually renamed the Doodle tool to Sketch in our new editor. You can find it about a page from the top of the Effects tab, or also search for it by “Doodle” or “Sketch”.

RibbetKeymasterHi SKH,
Thanks for reaching out! Currently you can only create collages using the pre-defined shapes we offer. Note thought that for Shape Collage, there are more shapes that can be seen by clicking the various icons on the left bar.
Let us know if you have any other questions!
