Windows 8 is supported by Ribbet. If you are having trouble getting Ribbet to load under Windows 8, updating your Flash player will fix the issue in most cases:

You may alternatively find the free Google Chrome browser to be a faster way of using Ribbet, and it comes with the latest version of Flash built-in:
