I have a picture with a blade of grass that is a distraction from the subject. How do I cut it out or delete it and then fill in the color? For some things I’ve been able to use the blemish control in “touch-up” but not for this. Please help! I have a beautiful picture that would be incredible if I can remove the blade of grass!

Hi Julie, The best way to achieve this will depend on the specifics of the photo, but generally speaking the Advanced > Clone tool will be the best tool for the job. Clone a nearby area in order to mimic it’s texture and pattern so that the blade of grass is not obviously removed. Let us know how you go or if you need further advice.

Thank you soooo much! At first I was frustrated because I had it in my head to “take it out”. When the lightbulb finally went off, I understood the cloning part and it all came together. I had to reverse my thinking. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
