Is it possible to remove words from an image if the words are already there?

Hi Candace,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
There are a few ways to achieve this:
– If the words were added using Ribbet, you can remove them by opening up the previous edit from the PHOTOS tab (on the top bar) > History tab (on the left bar). Click the text and click Delete (or press the Delete key on your keyboard).
If the words are already on your photo:
– If you want to replace them with a flat background color, open up the Effects tab > Sketch tool, and paint over them.
– If you want to replace them with a similar background to what the photo has, open up the Pro tab > Clone tool. Click an area of the background you want to copy over the words, and then paint over the text (i.e. hold down your mouse button and drag over it).
Let us know if you have any questions!

I don’t see a sketch tool anywhere. I’ve spent all afternoon trying erase the background /paint over etc. around my photo and I don’t see anyway to do it.
When I search there are multiple changes to this tool. ie go to Effects tab/ not there , changes name from doodle tool etc. I need to get this done for a project but it’s not going to get done in time now. I’ve been a premium member for a long time and I think you need to simplify and update your help section to make it easier (that’s the whole reason for Ribbett right (photoshop od too difficult)?-

Hi Bob,
Thanks for reaching out to us! Sketch is the 7th effect from the top on the Effects tab. You can also find it by searching for the word Sketch in the search box at the top of that tab. Does that help?
Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Yes it did. When you click on it, the way it’s set up it doesn’t appear to be a paint type tool with the scribbles. That is want was throwing me. Thanks
Now… is there no undo? When you get nearly all the way around the image it sometimes bites into the image ruining it and you have to start all over.
Most programs I use have this undo feature. Thank you.

Yes, the Undo and Redo icons are up the very top right of your image. Each time you release your mouse button you can undo that step, so if you edit in smaller steps you can undo each one and won’t risk losing much work due to an unwanted bite.
