I have a photo that I added text to. However the text blends into the photo. So I added a basic shape (a rectangular box) that I have at 50% opacity. I wanted the text to lay on top of this box but whenever I move the text to this shape, it puts the text behind the shape so that the text gets even lighter in color.

How do I bring the text to the front? Or send the shape back one layer?

      Thank you!

      Hi Debi,

Thanks for reaching out to us! You can move shapes and text backwards and forwards by right-mouse-clicking them (or Control-clicking them on Mac) and selecting Send Backward or Bring Forward.

Let us know if you have any other questions!
