How do I modify the image placed above main image

I have two images. The one on top I want to stretch over certain parts of the lower image. When I use the tools it only modifies the lower image. I want just the top image. I know I could save the file then they would be combined but I just want to be able to mutate the top image. Thanks

Hi Berzerker, The easiest way to achieve this is to first open up the “top” image and apply any edits you require. Then save it. Now it will be in your history. You can now open the “lower” image and drag the edited “top” image from the photo basket (select “History” from the dropdown that defaults to “Get from Computer”). Hope that helps.
