In this tutorial you will learn how to use the Dodging tool.
First open your image in Ribbet and then follow these steps:
- Select Dodging from the Pro menu on the left bar
- Adjust the Brush Size on the right panel
- Zoom into your image
- Select Move on the right panel to focus on the part you want to dodge
- Select Shadows on the right panel to make dark areas lighter
- Paint over your image again and again until light enough
- Select Highlights on the right panel to make light areas even lighter (then repeat step 6)
- Select Midtones on the right panel to make areas of medium darkness lighter (then repeat step 6)
- Use Erase on the right panel to recover dodged areas by painting over your image
