RibbetKeymaster
Hi Erika, We may sell Ribbet for downloading in the future however at this stage it is only available online.
Uploading multiple pictures is already possible – you need to make sure you have registered for an account. You can then select multiple photos when uploading by holding the Shift or Ctrl/Command key on your keyboard when selecting files.
RibbetKeymasterHi Erika, Sorry for the frustration. This problem, which occurs in many online photo editors, is due to a specific version of Internet Explorer and Flash. The easiest solutions are:
– You can save using the "Basic Downloader" link under the red "Save" button, or
– You can try using Google Chome instead of Internet Explorer, or
– You can try Updating FlashHope that helps
RibbetKeymasterHi Berzerker, The easiest way to achieve this is to first open up the “top” image and apply any edits you require. Then save it. Now it will be in your history. You can now open the “lower” image and drag the edited “top” image from the photo basket (select “History” from the dropdown that defaults to “Get from Computer”). Hope that helps.
RibbetKeymasterUpdate 29th Dec 2016: Ribbet for iPad is now available for download from the App Store.
Hi Ange, Unfortunately not at this stage as Ribbet requires Adobe Flash and iPad doesn’t support it. However we are looking at developing an iPad app in the future and will let you know when this is available.RibbetKeymasterHi Gia, First make sure you are signed into Ribbet (registration is required for layering). Then please see this tutorial on the photo basket. Also this short YouTube tutorial on layering is equally relevant for Ribbet as it was for Picnik.
RibbetKeymasterHi Wiregirl12, When you first open the image, click undo straight away and the image will return to its full resolution. Alternatively go to Help > My Account in the top right menu and change your Image Quality settings to Archival (before opening the image). Either way you will be able to save at 3872 x 2592. Hope this helps and please let us know if you are still having an issue.
RibbetKeymasterThanks Suzi, These are excellent suggestions that we will consider as future Ribbet! features.
RibbetKeymasterHi Ashtronaut, unfortunately not. Due to the way Ribbet has been architected, such an enhancement would be quite a big deal and so it’s unlikely to be a feature that will be available anytime soon.
RibbetKeymasterHi Fia, Currently there is no way to interface into Ribbet from Picasa. You can use our Toolbar Button to edit images on any public webpage, and better Picasa integration is coming in a future version.
RibbetKeymasterHi Alisha, Unfortunately the stickers aren’t copyright free. You may use them on your photos for personal use. If you want to use them for commercial use, contact us and let us know which stickers you want to use and we can show you where to buy a commercial license.
RibbetKeymasterHi VONDERVOMAN, to celebrate our launch, premium membership is free for a limited time: simply register to take part.
RibbetKeymasterHi Nicci, currently this isn’t possible, but we will be adding this ability, as well as other file formats in the future.
RibbetKeymasterHi Nicole, Try exiting your browser completely and re-opening it. That should solve the issue. If not, try updating your flash player.
September 20, 2012 at 12:10 am in reply to: Replace Flickr photos you edit (Flickr pro users only) #410RibbetKeymasterHi early1945, the option is presented when saving to Flickr, but there is currently a bug which is stopping the option from displaying.
This should be fixed within the next few days, but in the meantime you can workaround the problem by disconnecting and reconnecting to Flickr. You can do this on the Library tab by clicking Options under your Flickr account name and then disconnect. Then click the red connect button again. When you save to Flickr the replace option will appear.
RibbetKeymasterHi 4cassandra, I’m very sorry you’re having these troubles. When I test with Chrome I don’t experience these problems, but I do understand that these issues exist on some computers.
There are many things that can be tried to fix these types of issues including the points set out here: http://blog.ribbet.com/?topic=trouble-loading-ribbet I would suggest clearing your cache [step 3] as a possible solution (so that Ribbet is forced to reload).
Unfortunately Chrome sometimes seems to not behave correctly with Flash, and I have seen some suggestions on fixing this such as in this article: http://www.pcmech.com/article/problems-with-google-chrome-and-shockwave-flash/.
Another simple thing you could try is uninstalling and reinstalling Google Chrome. Also as simple as it sounds, rebooting your computer may help.
If you do resolve the issue please let us know what worked for you. Sorry I can’t point you to a simple and certain fix.
