RibbetKeymaster
Hi Lynn,
Thanks very much for this suggestion – it’s a really good one. We’ve added this to our wishlist for inclusion in a future Ribbet version and will update this thread once this feature has been launched.
RibbetKeymasterHi Janet, Thanks for contacting us!
The largest supported Blank Canvas dimensions for 4 foot x 8 foot is 2828×5656.
Let us know if you have any other questions.
RibbetKeymasterHi Janet,
Thanks for contacting us! You can achieve this by first cropping off the frame that you previously added (using the Basic Edits > Crop tool) and then applying a new frame.
Let us know if we can assist further in any way.
RibbetKeymasterHi Patti,
Thanks for contacting us! Unfortunately not – currently you do have to undo back into “Collage mode.” Allowing you back into Collage mode without undoing is something we will look at allowing for a future Ribbet version.
Let us know if you have any other questions or suggestions.
RibbetKeymasterHi Michelle,
Thanks for contacting us! You can achieve this by first uploading your background photo, and then uploading the smaller photo to the Photo Basket (at the bottom of the editor) and dragging it onto the main photo. You can then reposition and resize the smaller photo, and also use the Eraser Tool to erase areas from it.
Let us know if you have any further questions.
RibbetKeymasterHi Matt,
Thanks for contacting us. You can duplicate images dragged on from the Photo Basket, stickers and text by right-mouse-clicking and then selecting “Duplicate”. On a MacBook Air you need to place your cursor over the object, hold the Control or Ctrl key on your keyboard and then click.
Let us know if you have any other questions!
RibbetKeymasterHi Andrea,
Thanks for contacting us. Yes, the maximum size (for both free and Premium versions) is 16 megapixels. So this will be 4000×4000 for a square image, or can be longer on one side (e.g. 8000×2000).
Let us know if you have any other questions!
RibbetKeymasterHi Jeanine,
Thanks for contacting us. Here are the steps:
1. Start by opening our editor
2. Click the red Upload Photo button up the top left and select your image
3. Add arrow stickers from the Stickers tab > Basic Shapes group (about 2 pages from the top). You can rotate the stickers and resize them.
4. Next add text from the Text tab. You can also resize and rotate the text.Let us know if you have any other questions!
RibbetKeymasterHi Monica,
Thanks for contacting us. Unfortunately this isn’t currently possible. This has been a popular request though, and is something we will be including in a future version of Ribbet.
Let us know if you have any other questions!
RibbetKeymasterHi Diane,
Thanks for contacting us! Currently the only way to achieve this is by adding a second piece of text for the title, and making that separate text italic. In the future we will support multiple fonts and styles within a single paragraph.
Let us know if you have any other questions.
RibbetKeymasterHi Vicky,
Thanks for contacting us.
On most browsers you select the destination folder where the picture is saved. The only exception to this is currently on Safari on Mac OS X El Capitan (which I believe that you’re using) the photos save to the default Downloads folder on your Mac.
In the future we may be able to allow you to select the folder in this case as well: we are waiting for a fix on an Adobe Flash bug before we can introduce this functionality.
In the meantime, you can locate your saved images in the Downloads folder, or if you’d rather select a destination folder for each image, you can use a different web browser, such as Chrome (recommended) or Firefox.
Let us know if you have any other questions.
RibbetKeymasterHi Susan,
If it’s a pic dragged on from the Photo Basket at the bottom of the editor, you can simply adjust the Fade slider on the Photo Properties dialog that appears when you click that photo.
If however it’s your main image, you can instead of fading it, use the Effects tab > Doodle tool (towards the end of the page) to paint white over your entire image. You can increase the Brush size to 100% to make the task fast. You then can use the tool’s Fade slider to make the painting fade.
Let us know if you have any other questions!
RibbetKeymasterHi Susan,
Thanks for contacting us. To create a Blank Canvas of this size you simply head to the Home tab, click Blank Canvas and then enter these dimensions. You can then drag on your photos from the Photo Basket at the bottom of the editor.
Let us know if you have any further questions. Thanks!
RibbetKeymaster24×24″ is just an indicative size if the collage is square, and printed at 150DPI. You can print larger, but this is around the size where quality will be optimal.
You can also print at other sizes – by using the Collage Maker’s ‘Snap drop-down’ and setting it to the size you’d like to print at (e.g. 20×24) you can ensure your collage will fit the desired poster size perfectly.
RibbetKeymasterHi Danette,
Thanks for contacting us. To maximize the resolution of your collage you can:
1. Change your Image Quality setting to Archival by clicking Hi Username on the top right toolbar
2. When creating your collage, change the Quality on the top toolbar to HighThis will allow collages at up to 3600×3600 which 24″x24″ at 150DPI.
To edit your current collage, open it up from the Library > History tab, and then click Undo until back in Collage mode. You can then change the Quality to High.
Let us know if you have any other questions.
