Hi Breanna,
Thanks for reaching out to us! You should be able to type into the Type Text Here box by first clicking it, then typing. Then by clicking ADD it should add the text to your image. Does that work?
Regards – The Ribbet Team
RibbetKeymasterHi Lismary!
You should be able to upload multiple images when making a collage as long as you are signed into a Ribbet account (can be a free account or Premium account). If you are signed in you will see “Hi Username!” on the top right toolbar. If not you will need to sign in. Then when uploading images hold down the Command or Control key on your keyboard to select multiple files.
Let us know if you have any other questions or problems!

RibbetKeymasterHi HV,
We have now reverted our old version to have the original Doodle tool. We will also be adding the following improvements to the new Sketch tool in our new editor soon:
– Make the cursor transparent (not a colour) and instead show the circle brush cursor like the old Doodle does
– Make blend mode work like the old Doodle doesLet us know if there are any other improvements you’d like to see to the new sketch tool or if you have any other issues!

RibbetKeymasterHi Margery,
Thanks for reaching out to us and we’re very sorry for any frustration caused! We will revert the Doodle tool (on our old editor) back to how it was before within the next 1-2 days, and let you know once this has been done.
The “Awaiting moderation” message just means that the forum message needs to be checked for spam before being posted publicly within our forum (because forum spam is common and can fill our blog and forum with ads and nonsense).
Sorry again for any inconvenience and everything will be as it was previously shortly.

RibbetKeymasterHi Mij,
As an update: We’ve now fixed the scroll wheel issue on the old editor, and also added Fade to Sketch (along with fixing the Blend Mode dropdown so that it applies to everything you’ve already sketched).
Let us know if you have any other feedback!
Regards – The Ribbet Team
RibbetKeymasterHi Mij,
Thanks so much for alerting us to these issues! We will fix both of them – the scroll wheel on the old editor and we will also add a Fade slider to the Sketch tool on the New UI. Please stay tuned for this update soon.

Thanks for reaching out to us!
Yes, you can still access the old version of Ribbet. It’s now available as a program for Windows and Mac, which you can download and install from ribbet.com/download.
Let us know if you have any other questions!

RibbetKeymasterOK brilliant. So glad you love it! Thanks again for your feedback 🙂

RibbetKeymasterHi 2paw! You’re very welcome.
The only thing is, and this is why we removed the button because of this ambiguity: the Collage Photo Basket is the same images as the Editor Photo Basket and also the same as the Photos > Uploads tab. All 3 are simply your “Uploads” and clearing from any 1 of these places clears the other 2 places. That’s why we just made it so you had to clear it on the Photos > Uploads tab, since it’s pretty clear from there that you’re clearing everything. But we could add back the button to the Photo Basket and add a message which warns you of this.

RibbetKeymasterHi 2paw,
Thanks for reaching out to us! We actually removed the Empty button from the new version because some users in the past have emptied it, not realising it would delete their entire library.
You can still empty it by heading to the Photos > Uploads tab and clicking Clear All there. Do you think that’s OK, or would you prefer to see the Clear button back on the Photo Basket (we could add an extra warning message)?

RibbetKeymasterHi Brandy,
Sorry to hear that you’ve run into this issue! When you add an image to the Photo Basket it uploads it to our server – it may be that depending on your internet speed and the size of your images that this could take some time, however it shouldn’t take 5 minutes. What you could do is upload a bunch of images at once when you aren’t using your computer, so that when you come back they’re ready to add from the Photo Basket. Hope that helps or if you believe this is a bug (or want further help on this), please email us at support [at] ribbet.com so that we can assist in sorting it out one-on-one.

RibbetKeymasterHi Tanya! Thanks for your feedback, so glad you like that new view!

RibbetKeymasterHi Brian,
Thanks for this feedback. We will continue to try to make the interface as simple as we can for new users. We’ll most likely also allow you to add overlays from the left bar in a future update, so that both the Photo Basket and the left bar options exist.

RibbetKeymasterHi Brain,
Thanks for reaching out to us! We will look into this and add JPG progressive support in a future Ribbet update. Thanks for your support 🙂
