WIll you be adding more textures? Preferably ones that look like old worn wood and/or paint worn off the edges of wood.

Yes we will be adding new textures. There are already some worn wood/paint textures in Effects > Textures (around 3/4 of the way down the effects panel). Also, if you are registered you can use your own custom textures by uploading them to the photo basket and then dragging them onto your image (and then adjusting the blend mode). For more info on custom textures see: Photo Basket help and also Advanced Blend Mode help.
