Hi Mary,
We did receive your email but it looks like you didn’t receive our reply. We’ve just forwarded it to the new email address you entered. Let us know if you don’t receive it!
RibbetKeymasterHi Mary, Thanks for following up and sorry I didn’t update this thread sooner.
We do now have an educator discount for teachers. Please email us at support [at] ribbet.com and attach a copy of your teacher ID (or similar evidence that you’re a teacher). We will reply with an educator discount code.
Thanks!
RibbetKeymasterHi Nancy,
Thanks for getting back in touch!
According to these forums on Flickr: https://www.flickr.com/groups/flickrideas/discuss/72157627141588468/ and https://www.flickr.com/help/forum/76980/?search=jshook, Flickr only supports transparent PNGs in the original size image. All other sizes are converted into JPG. That may be why the workaround I suggested didn’t seem to work, however you should find that the original image on Flickr has maintained its transparency.
I’ve added your suggestion for Ribbet to support saving of transparent PNGs to Flickr to our wishlist for inclusion in a future Ribbet version.
Let us know if you have any other questions or suggestions!
RibbetKeymasterHi Christine,
Thanks for contacting us! After adding text from the Text tab, you should see a small ‘Text Properties’ dialog appear with a large color selector at the top. You can also bring up this dialog by clicking an existing piece of text. Drag anywhere within the color selector to pick your new text color.
Let us know if you have any further questions!
RibbetKeymasterHi Jess,
Thanks for contacting us!
For Arabic text, you can either use the ‘Global’ font (the first font in our list), or you can use Arabic fonts installed on your computer by clicking the ‘Load My Fonts’ button at the bottom of the Text tab.
You can download and install fonts from sites such as Font Space or Da Font and install them. You will need to restart your web browser before they’ll appear within Ribbet, because Adobe Flash caches the font list.

RibbetKeymasterHi MaryMary,
Thanks for contacting us! The most useful tools for this are the ‘Pro Adjust’ tool and the ‘Curves’ tool (which can both be found on the Pro tab). These Premium tools allow you to selectively adjust Exposure, Sharpness, Clarity and Color. By clicking the ‘Reverse Effect’ checkbox on the small ‘Effect Painting’ dialog which appears, you can apply the effect to only those areas that you paint on (as opposed to applying it to all areas except those you paint off).
Let us know if you have any further questions about these tools or anything else.
RibbetKeymasterHi Roos,
We’ve now pushed a fix for this issue. You’ll need to make sure you reload Ribbet before trying again (if you still have it opened).
Let us know if you continue to see any issues. Thanks!
RibbetKeymasterHi Roos,
Thanks for contacting us and sorry to hear that you’ve run into this issue!
We are aware of the problem and are working to resolve it. We will update you as soon as this has been fixed.
RibbetKeymasterHi Kathy,
Thanks for contacting us!
To achieve this, use the Effects tab > Black and White effect, but before clicking Apply, paint over the areas of your image that you would like to make color (in this case the shoes). You can also use the Effects Painting dialog which appears to change the brush size and hardness.
Let us know if you have any further questions!
RibbetKeymasterHi Allison, Thanks for this suggestion! We’ve added it to our wishlist and will look at including it in a future Ribbet version.
RibbetKeymasterHi Penelope,
Thanks for contacting us! Yes, this has been developed. To create a Facebook cover collage, simply create a collage as normal, and select “Facebook Cover” from the Snap dropdown (towards the end of the list). This will create a collage in the correct proportions for a Facebook cover photo. The actual dimensions will be larger than 851×315, however Facebook supports larger cover photos as long as they keep the correct proportions.
Let us know if you have any other questions!
RibbetKeymasterHi Shawn, Thanks for contacting us!
Currently you can only save each History item individually, but we are looking at allowing you to save all to a zip file in the near future. I will update this thread when we support this feature.
Let us know if you have any other questions or suggestions!
RibbetKeymasterHi Cind, This is a brilliant suggestion, thank you! We’ve added it to our wishlist for inclusion in a future Ribbet version. Thanks for your kind words too 🙂
RibbetKeymasterHi Emotion, This is an excellent suggestion and one we will seriously consider for the future. Thanks for your feedback!
