Will not save as JPEG changes to PNG

I use Ribbet almost every day to add text and to resize my photos. Then I save the photo as a JPG. Today I did the same thing but Ribbet will not let me save as JPG and keeps changing it to PNG. They are usually scenery photos that I work with. I don’t want it saved as PNG.

Thanks for reaching out to us! Is the issue that you’re totally unable to select JPG when saving, or is it that it keeps defaulting to PNG? Normally Ribbet will default to PNG if you save an image with some transparency (since JPG doesn’t support it), but if you change it back to JPG (in the dropdown on the save screen) it should remember your preference and let you save in JPG format.

It is working fine now. I had to change it back to JPG in the drop-down menu. so there must have been transparency involved. Thank you for your reply.
