  Is it possible to soften/blur only the backround in a portrait photo?

  Hi Ned, Thanks for contacting us! This is possible by using the Effects tab > Fancy Focus, Focal Soften or Focal Zoom effects (around 2/3 down the page). Click on the subject of the photo and play with the effect’s settings to adjust things to your needs. Let us know if you have any further questions!
