I love the ribbet and I love the drop shadow effect on a picture.. However when I check translucent and save photo to Flickr , it doesn’t show up translucent….
Just wondering why or how I can do it..
Thanks so much!,

Hi Nancy,
Thanks for contacting us. So glad to hear you love Ribbet! Currently saving to Flickr doesn’t maintain transparency, but you can overcome this by saving to your computer with the Format dropdown set to PNG, and then uploading your saved image file to Flickr.
Let us know if you have any further questions!

I tried saving it as a PNG. and it still doesn’t come out transparent on Flickr.. Sure would be nice to have this feature on Ribbet without going through all that! ; )

Hi Nancy,
Thanks for getting back in touch!
According to these forums on Flickr: https://www.flickr.com/groups/flickrideas/discuss/72157627141588468/ and https://www.flickr.com/help/forum/76980/?search=jshook, Flickr only supports transparent PNGs in the original size image. All other sizes are converted into JPG. That may be why the workaround I suggested didn’t seem to work, however you should find that the original image on Flickr has maintained its transparency.
I’ve added your suggestion for Ribbet to support saving of transparent PNGs to Flickr to our wishlist for inclusion in a future Ribbet version.
Let us know if you have any other questions or suggestions!
