Changing my dimensions

I love the program but why is it changing my dimensions? My original photo is 3456×2304 to 2800×1867, I would really like to know why and how to stop that from happening.

Hi Caren, Thanks for contacting us!
To maintain the maximum resolution of your images, go into your account settings (by clicking Hi username! on the top right toolbar) and change your Image Quality to Archival. All edited images from this point on will maintain their resolution (up to 16 megapixels). Let us know if we can be of any further assistance!
