Reply To: burning, cloning, dodging

I cannot change a yellowish color to a very light brown on a person’s hair. I have tried burning, cloning from a different area, highlights, and every variation within these. They all seem to deepen the yellow. I also tried the tool that decreases shine. Any tips? Thanks
