Can you add a watermark to photo’s? Not just text which is too blatant.

Hi Janie, Thanks for contacting us! Yes, you can add a watermark. To do this, drag on an image from the Photo Basket (at the bottom of the editor). For best results upload a transparent PNG, or alternatively you can use the Advanced Blend Modes (on the Photo Properties Dialog that appears) to make your watermark blend well with the photo. Let us know if you have any further questions!

I’ve made a transparent watermark and figured out how to add it to a photo, and can move it but what tool do you use to rotate it? Depending on the photo, there are some I’d like to turn it onto an angle etc., and can’t figure out how. There’s no corner on the watermark box to rotate that I can see.

      Thanks !

Hi CM, Thanks for contacting us! Simply grab the circle which is to the top center of your layer, and you should then be able to move it left or right to rotate it. Let us know if you have any other questions!

Thanks for that, and I’d do that if there was anything around the watermark to grab.
I opened a photo, then opened my .png watermark file (open image as layer) and there are no edges/box to see or grab.
      That’s the reason I’m asking!
      Thanks.

Hi CM, Hmmm… that’s strange. After dragging on the watermark from the Photo Basket (at the bottom of the editor), you should be seeing a white box around the layer. If you aren’t, please try exiting your web browser completely and then re-launching Ribbet. This restarts Adobe Flash, which should resolve the problem.

If you continue to have an issue you can contact us here so that we can help you out one-on-one.

      Hi Barbara,

Yes you can add Text to your image by navigating to the Text tab (on the left bar), entering the text you want to add up in the top left box and then clicking Add.

To add a picture as a watermark you can upload it and drag it on from the Photo Basket (at the bottom of the editor).

To export as .png you simply change the Format dropdown to PNG on the Save tab.

Let us know if you have any other questions!

Thank you for the answer, but that does not answer my question. I wann to create a watermark with transparent background and text and Export it as .png to use it with ribbet or other programs. It should not be added to a picture or anything. Just transparent background plus text and Save as .png.
      Thank you for the answer,
      B.

In that case you need to:

      1. Click the BLANK CANVAS button up the top right of the START tab
      2. Make sure the Transparent background checkbox is on
      3. Then add text/images and save with PNG selected in the Format dropdown
